She continuously takes her trainings abroad valuing the ancient traditional way of learning knowledge passed in succession from teacher to student. She first practiced yoga in 2011 and has worked with adults and kids since 2016.
She is one of the students of Sri BNS Iyengar, the last living disciples of Krishnamacharya (father of modern yoga). She continues to make her regular trips to India to continue her yoga studies with her teachers and Sanskrit scholars.
She is also a certified teacher for Yoga and Mindfulness for Children and Youth with Complex Needs with Shawnee Thornton-Hardy (San Diego, California) to include Autism, Sensory Processing Challenges, ADHD, SPD, CP and other movement disorders, Pediatric Cancer, Anxiety/Depression, etc.
She works alongside medical practitioners like Functional Medicine physicians and Developmental Pediatricians integrating Yoga as one of the complimentary therapies towards whole-health care approach.
In 2021, she founded BRAIN BREAK (old name Yoga for Autism & Special Needs) with the purpose of bridging the experience and trainings from her studies abroad to the Filipino children. She advocates that yoga should be inclusive to both neurotypical and neurodiverse children and it is with hope of bringing the benefits of yoga to the lives of children so that they may live happier, healthier, and more peaceful lives for years to come.
At heart, she is a seeker of knowledge and a yogini in training. She co-founded Yoga Sangha PH, an at-home virtual yoga studio for the goal-oriented practitioners that designs progressive class series and programs both for group and individuals based on their life-stage and lifestyle.
